We began working with PMD in February 2017, and have not only achieved fantastic progress with their social media presence; we’ve also seen a cultural shift in the way the team perceive and interact with the company’s digital marketing strategy.
PMD Business Finance started discussions with BizWizUK about their social media marketing after being introduced through networking. Having recently rebranded, the company was conscious of the need to gain exposure online, while at the same time wary of maintaining a consistent message across all channels.
After exploring ways in which the brand could increase its online presence, PMD felt confident that outsourced social media management could overcome the obstacles company was facing. As such, they decided to embark on a digital marketing plan with BizWizUK.
To ensure that PMD’s investment in social media delivered on the company’s objectives, we put a strategy in place that’s revisited, quarterly, to assess any new strategic opportunities that arise.
Our activity on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn aims to showcase the latest news, developments, CSR efforts and successes at PMD, as well as educating their audience on services they may not understand or be aware of.
As well as managing the company’s social media accounts, we have also created branded image templates for sharing testimonials and case studies, giving PMD a visually distinct way of presenting success narratives on social.
In just over six months, we’ve seen some brilliant results. The company has more than doubled its following on LinkedIn; in July alone, we gained 115 new likes. PMD has also gained over 300 followers on Twitter.
However, the results go beyond social media statistics. By educating PMD on the importance of digital marketing, we’ve secured buy-in from the team as they contribute to the company’s social media efforts.
All staff now actively update us with news and successes, sending images and stories to share so we can humanise the brand on social media and present PMD as the active, connected business that it is.
